IL PORTSMOUTH E’ LA GRANDE FAVORITA PER LA VITTORIA DELL’EURO WINNERS CUP. INTERVISTA A ANNALIES MARTIJN

Last year the Portsmouth lineup was only surrendered to the final against BSC Havana Shots Aargau Women for 4 to 3. This season Portsmouth comes, not without difficulty, to the semi-finals only beating on penalties the Polish formation of the Grembach ( 5 to 4 the final result) and is candid, without terms, to the final victory.
After the race we interviewed Annali Martijn who commented on the match: “t was difficult to overcome the Polish formation also because they had two brilliant players in attack who were difficult to control. At the end of regulation time we were in perfect equality”.
It goes to extra time: “after 3 minutes of further game there were no winners”, continues Martijn, “we go on penalties.” This phase of the game is certainly not well in my heart. My team decided to change the goalkeeper”.
Finally: Did you have a Brazilian talent, Adriele Rocha, as an opponent, who seems to have made you?
“Adri is a good player for luck that we will play with the same team in the Italian Championship (Terracina BS – ndr).”
